Dream Scape

Waves roll calmly to the shore,
Shedding its last drop of blood,
The sun kindly sets in the west,
And succumbs to the luminescent guidance of the graceful moon.

A night of love arises along the shoreline,
Couples join hands,
Lovers embrace each flowing kiss that the gentle breeze brings them,
The gripping need for love and all its beauty crawl in and conquer all.

There, a crestfallen boy.
Surrounded by friends,
He finds himself by his lonesome-
Sulking and wallowing in his silent cries for his love.

Darkness and weariness falls over all,
Sleep becomes his only refuge,
Tears fall down from the sky like wax,
And become frozen rose pedals on his lips.

He soon finds himself lost in his own bed,
And frozen in the bitter cold of his loneliness.
He looks up at the trusted moon and waits,
Waits for guidance, waits for counsel, waits for help.

In doing this,
He loses all identity,
And becomes another pale face peering through a window-
Waiting.

Soon,
A single white feather gently falls onto the tip of his nose.
A flap of a wing runs by the window,
A face peers back.

A face such as all the world has never seen,
Glowing with beauty and grace,
Smiling with every moment,
She speaks-

"I love you."
Though there were no words heard,
The boy felt them all around,
And they kiss at him with love and brief looks at happiness.

As she hovers down like a fallen leaf,
Stars dance in the boy's tear-filled eyes.
She swoops down to bestow a candy kiss,
And flies into his heart so that the boy may never wake.
