Revelation
Into a mouth I dive.
Gaping
and black,
I'm swallowed alive.
Teeth close and lips seal.
There's
never going back.
I cry out and die.
My screams, a concave
moan.
Shattering soul,
I am alone.
There's no place to lie.
A darker
place.
An empty sigh.
Dirty woman
And dirty lace.
In a twisting
sea
We swim and sing.
We swim and sing
For a deep green sea.
It's
never too late
And it's never too soon.
It's destiny, sometimes
fate.
But the pain keeps me straight
So I can sit back and bake.
Of all
the things I've tried,
For you, the truth.
The sickness of my
mind.
From within the mouth
I kick and cry.
Swallowed
whole,
Swallowed alive.
There's never going back.
And I realize
It's
all a lie.
I wait as my judges conspire...
To die
Is to confide
My
hopes, my dreams,
And all that I hide.
In a squeezing embrace
Of the
woman in lace
I'm twisted and turned.
The stench of hate.
The smell of
regret.
I'm eaten in whole
By my own sweet sorrow.
But is this the
end?
Oh surely not!
Like a setting sun,
The promise of Salvation for
all but one.
A smudged face.
An angry child.
A heart beating fast
At
a sickening pace.
Razors cut through flesh and bone.
A fire burns through
night alone.
And to know...
And to know
What one knows?
A love never
to be told.
Unspoken pacts
And secret matter-of-facts
Wearies my
mind.
Blurs the line.
A line of white
Never to be crossed.
So
empires fall and kings come to call.
Sex is the law.
Morals, blind men
write.
All that I've learned
From this trip through my soul.
A last
minute rite.
Be it a revelation;
Be it one to give me sight.
Or one
that makes wise men blind.
My illnes, to say, despite
At what
best
Could be called death.
I found I am not
Who I originally
thought....
